Thomas C. Stanton,

An accomplished financial services and operational leader with an extensive background building premier start up entities and revitalizing existing organizations; Tom has more than twenty years of management experience, the past twelve years as a senior executive or business owner. He is a proven optimistic leader who can energize a workforce by creating a strategic vision while establishing the discipline and empowerment necessary for long term success.
During his career with MBNA America and later, with Bank of America, Tom managed virtually every area of banking operations and was instrumental with the establishment of six regional offices or satellite sites. His leadership, communication style, organizational and problem solving skills were essential for the success of each of these business ventures.
In 2007, Tom established his own consulting firm, TCS Consulting LLC. His focus is the small business person, those individuals whose companies comprise fewer than 250 employees. He works with the Business Owner to refine and develop the following critical components to a successful operation:
- Purpose/Mission/Objectives
- Definition – Defining the who, the what and the how
- Leadership and Teamwork – This generally determines success or failure
- Systems – Ensuring that all necessary systems are in place and working properly
- Results – Assessing the quantity, quality, cost and timeliness of the work
Tom has built his career on building effective business organizations by living each of these critical components.
A graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Business Management, Tom also received his Master of Science in Accounting from the same University. Tom is a married father of two teenagers and is actively involved with a number of charitable and community organizations.
